Honestly I tried selfishly to get him to say that my fried rice is better than his dad's. Of course he refused but did say that my fried rice is "really good." (and finished a huge bowl). I pulled out all the stops, serving in a molded shape and garnishing itbwith sesame seeds. I will take that as a compliment from a fifteen year old. He did also say its been a while since his dad made him fried rice. I am reading between the lines here but i know that meant that mine is definitely better however male bonding was over-riding his ability to admit my superiority.
