This morning's home brewed coffee is french roast from whole foods market ($12.99 for 12 oz) plus organic Horizon dairy half and half ($2.69 for 6oz) and raw sugar from VIPs cash and carry store, all in Kahului. The french roast is delicious and well balanced, no biting bitter edge at all.

Breakfast is a new twist on the breakfast sandwich. Homemade waffle leftovers frozen and toasted. Those crisp triangles are then slathered with butter and then I filled them with a slice of Tillamook cheddar and organic ham (uncured no nitrates $7.49 for 6 oz at Whole Foods Market). It was quick and yummy.

Now i am off to make paper crowns with the kids.

I needed an eggs benedict morning badly. Grand girls night out, late night jacuzzi girl talk, Dede Rockett's birthday party was epic all in all down to the last drop of lilikoi margarita courtesy of Nicole Rockett.

Sara and I shuffled ourselves to breakfast early cuz our kids were coming to play at the Wailea Marriott pool. This eggs benedict hit the spot at Cheeseburger Island Style located at the shops at wailea. They sprinkle a bit of cajun on it as their signature move. The english muffins tasted like Thomas muffins and were perfect. Ham was good too. Just don't be surprised if your male server is wearing a grass skirt, that is the uniform. Luckily they are required to sport shorts under them.
